Import Destination Services – Important Information
Fox will appoint and instruct the delivery crew to attend to and complete the standard delivery services described below.
The scope of the delivery services will be determined by the specific requirements of the items within the shipment and the access arrangements at your residence.
Standard Delivery Access
Direct delivery to the ground-floor entrance of the residence, including access to the first upper floor, where normal access is available.
Vehicle Access
For shipments other than a full container load (FCL), clear access and parking
within 25 metres of the residence must be available and suitable for a vehicle
measuring up to:

Standard Delivery Services

Access from the vehicle and into the residence must be clear and solely available to the crew during delivery.

The shipment will be unloaded in the order in which it has been stowed in the container. Items will be taken into the residence and placed in the appropriate rooms.

Furniture will be unwrapped and placed where reasonably possible and required.

Professionally packed cartons will be unpacked onto flat-top surfaces only.

New or owner-packed items will be unloaded and placed into the appropriate rooms only.

Packing debris will be removed on the day of delivery. A later debris collection may be subject to additional charges and prior agreement.
Basic Furniture Reassembly
Basic single-person reassembly of used furniture may be included where the furniture was originally dismantled by the packing crew. This normally includes:
Standard Beds
Dining Tables
Two-Door Wardrobes
Expected allowance: Up to one item of furniture assembly per 10 cubic metres of shipment volume.
Where possible, please provide photographs and assembly instructions for any furniture that requires reassembly.
Other furniture types, additional items, or items requiring specialist or more extensive assembly will be subject to an additional charge.
Additional Services May Be Required
Additional services may be necessary where any of the following apply:
- Restricted vehicle access to the residence
- A residence entrance above ground-floor level
- Restricted walkways, hallways or stairways inside the residence
- Heavy, large or oversized items
- Extensive or complex furniture assembly requiring a handyperson
